FMA Product

Chillers

FMA Water ChillersFMA Chillers are all designed to immerse the bagged product into chilled water, and gently but rapidly cool the product to an adequate temperature to both ensure food safety and increase shelf life. FMA design minimises water wastage and there is no need for additional water-recycling tanks. Talk to us about which type of Chiller will suit your needs. It depends on many factors including batch size, bag size, product, space and budget. The Linear Chiller offers continuous chilling

FMA Pressure Cookers

FMA Pressure CookersFMA Pressure cookers are ideal for wet food production, for example, mashed potato, risotto, curries, stews or stocks, and legumes. The pressure of the steam raises the temperature at which the food is cooked within a sealed vessel. Pressure cooking is the method of choice when speed of cooking, protein integrity and preservation of fluids, vapours and aromas is a priority. In addition, with less evaporation comes higher yield. If desired, ingredients can be sautéed prior to sealing

Water Filtration

FMA have designed and developed a water filtration system specifically to clean water used in water chilling machinery. The unit shown is a test unit to evaluate filtration effectiveness and requirements for installed filtration. Contaminated chilling water. This is caused by a damaged bag or carry over from general processing. Cleaned water after over night filtration.

FMA can design, supply and install steam reticulation systems. Additionally, sanitary grade food piping systems can also be offered. All FMA steam systems are designed according to ANSI standards using stainless steel pipe and fittings. Where feasible all valves and general components are ANSI flanged to

Extended shelf life system installation

FMA recently completed the design, manufacture and installation of a large Extended Shelf Life (ESL) installation. The machinery supplied: 1000L FMA horizontal agitated kettle with 500L FMA horizontal agitated kettle (as above) Two FMA form fill seal packaging machines.
